Elon Musk Becomes the World's First Trillionaire

It's absolutely wild that Elon Musk has become the world's first trillionaire, following SpaceX's IPO. To put that into context, that makes him richer than 46% of the entire world combined.

Obviously the majority of this wealth are in assets, and are not liquid, but it's still a historical moment. My concern is that with such great wealth comes considerable power, and an obligation to use that power responsibly.

Unfortunately, over the past week, Elon has been using his massive following and privileged status to whip-up far-right unrest in Northern Ireland, culminating in riots and disorder. I don't begrudge people from success, but I do believe in social responsibility, and I can't help but think that anyone in these positions of power could (and should) use it for the betterment of society, not the fragmentation of it.
